Adesida Ireti Emmanuel – Profile

He is the Team Leader/Program Director of Rhealyz Global Empowerment Initiative ‘Rhealyz Africa’, a lead consultant of Technovate Green Concepts (all registered). He is also a Development Knowledge facilitator, and he has been taking his passionate mission, which is into discovery, development and empowerment cutting across various ethnic and cultures into developing well-groomed resourceful individuals. He has been working passionately in the area of media network, reaching out manily to young people and also to the larger society, via forums, electronic and print media thereby creating an avenue for information and knowledge sharing with entertainment to spice it up.

He produces a regular social responsibility development Radio program, which addresses issues that affect the education, health and well-being of women, girls and youths generally using SDGs as a tool. He has served as a member of various development committees and boards addressing the well-being of women, girls, farmers and youths generally. He is a highly resourceful agricultural communication technology consultant and presently working on the use of communication technologies to empower farmers.

He a World Bank Institute (WBI) trained Development Knowledge Facilitator {DKF}. He has been working on the United Nations Development Goals as a facilitator and a community organizer, working in various communities. He is a passionate public speaker, social entrepreneur and communication consultant.

Through the NGO Ireti founded, he has been able to build transformative programs tagged ‘Rhealyz Africa Girls’ Capacity Attainment Program (Rhealyz Africa Girls’ CAP) and Rhealyz Africa Kit a Child.  Rhealyz Africa Girls’ CAP is a holistic project poised towards empowering girls with the knowledge of reproductive & sexual health education, sustainable development/advocacy (SDGs), environment, social enterprise, and advocacy so that they can afterward become change agents in the society. The girls use the skills they have developed to come up with sustainable solutions to the challenges disadvantaged women face in their communities.  Rhealyz Africa has been working with various platforms to develop life-changing child development projects for the primary school educational sector through its Kit a Child project. There has been a partnership with private, public, and international organizations like Global Campaign to End FGM, Girls Not Bride, Women in Schneider Electric. State Ministries of Education and Environment, National Youth Service Corps, Bumble Bee Publishers, Public/Private schools, and lots more. The weekly radio program tagged ‘Our World Rhealyz Africa’ with Ireti as the producer and one of the presenters is another avenue to reach out, inform and build advocacy around issues affecting women and girls.

He is also the Project manager “Maternal Pulse Foundation” and a lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Communication Technology, Federal University of Technology Akure. Currently, he is a PhD student in area of Agricultural Communication and Policy at the Czech University of Life Sciences, Prague and recently attended European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment (EFITA) at the Supagro School, Montpellier, France from July 2nd to 6th 2017.

He presented a paper at the International Association for Media and Communication Research, IAMCR 2019, School of Communication, UCM, Madrid, Spain (7th to 11th July 2019) on the Influence of information sources use on e-wallet adoption among farmers in Nigeria.
